Frequently Asked Questions
How does pricing work?
We charge a $500 engagement fee to begin the search, which is credited toward your total cost once a candidate is placed. The remaining fee is a percentage of the candidate's starting salary, discussed during your initial conversation.
What happens if the placement doesn't work out?
Every placement is backed by a 90-day replacement guarantee. If the fit isn't right within that window, we'll find a replacement at no additional cost.
How long does the process take?
Once we begin the process, we get to work right away and factor in your timeline from the start. From there, it varies by role and your specific needs. Some placements move quickly, others take more time to find the right match. We'll give you a clearer timeline once we understand what you're looking for.
What roles do you place?
Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, and Administrative Assistants. For virtual roles, we serve Canada and the USA. For in-person roles, we serve Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
How are candidates vetted?
Every candidate is personally vetted, not just matched by resume, by a team who has worked as both managers and assistants themselves.
Do you place both full-time and part-time roles?
Yes. We place both full-time and part-time roles, available in-person or virtual, depending on what fits your needs.
What does support look like after the placement is made?
We check in throughout the 90-day guarantee window, stay available anytime something comes up, and offer ongoing consulting if you'd like continued support beyond the initial placement.
Started By Someone Who's Been There
Our founder spent over a decade in administrative roles before becoming a business manager — and eventually, running a business of her own. That path is what led her to start Helpers Studios.
It's also why we do things differently. Every candidate is personally vetted by a team who has sat on both sides of the desk — as managers and as assistants — so we understand exactly what makes that relationship work.
